This summer’s current trend includes neon, 90’s, native, geometric & graphic prints. Here are a few trends happening now:
1. Graphic prints:
This season’s graphic prints are mainly involved with abstract and geometric graphic prints. Experiment with bold colours. Begin with one graphic printed piece, then take a shot in mixing print on print.
2. Stripes
Stripes are one of the main trends of Summer 2013. Horizontal, vertical, diagonal, thick and thin stripes. You can find this print everywhere from jackets, tops to dresses. It could be worn from head to toe in stripes, or you could add something striped to the outfit. An example of a popular print is Chevron.
3. Primary Colours
This season, take on a primary color such as Cobalt Blue and make a statement by pairing this with some metallic accessories.
4. Colour of the Year
Don’t forget the colour of the year is Emerald Green. You can change it up by wearing different shades of green.
5. Metallics:
This is one of the most talked about trends of the season. Gold and rose gold are perfect choices. It’s fun and attention-seeking.
6. Pastel:
This feminine color, is the perfect addition to your wardrobe. It goes with almost everything, and suits all skin tones. Try pairing mint or coral with something plain or floral.
7. Floral:
Floral is nothing new, it’s been around almost every season. Wearing floral prints will definitely give a more romantic feel.
8. Leather:
Leather is a fashion staple. This season you will see leather in different colors, shapes, and laser cuts. Putting on a leather bracelet adds a wow-factor into your outfit.
